About the Role We are hiring a Medical Record Document Chaser to join our Florida team. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining, tracking, and organizing medical records and documentation required for patient orders, insurance authorizations, and compliance purposes. This is a critical role — our ability to serve patients depends on having complete and accurate documentation. You will work closely with doctors' offices, clinics, hospitals, and insurance providers to chase down the paperwork that keeps our operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities - Contact physicians' offices, clinics, hospitals, and medical facilities to request and obtain patient medical records and documentation - Track and follow up on outstanding document requests daily to ensure timely retrieval - Verify that all received records are complete, accurate, and meet insurance and compliance requirements - Coordinate with insurance companies to gather prior authorization documents and supporting medical records - Maintain organized and up-to-date records in our internal systems and databases - Work with the patient support team to resolve any documentation gaps or discrepancies - Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify or correct information on medical records - Ensure all HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards are followed at all times - Meet daily and weekly targets for document retrieval and case completion - Escalate unresolved documentation issues to management in a timely manner Qualifications - 1+ year of experience in medical records, medical office administration, insurance verification, or a related healthcare role - Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance documentation, and prior authorization processes - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent phone communication skills — you will be making a high volume of calls daily - Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, CRM tools, or medical databases - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required What We Offer - Competitive pay - Remote work flexibility - Opportunity to grow within a fast-growing healthcare company - Supportive team environment - Training provided on our specific systems and processes - Making a real difference in patients' lives by ensuring they receive critical diabetic supplies How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
